Pakistani students who apply for a Canada study visa from Pakistan need to have the following documents ready at all times during the application process::
- IELTS (Minimum of 6.0)
- Purchase GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate) – $10,000
- Acceptance by an eligible Post-Secondary Designated Learning Institute
- Certified and authentic medical test examination report
- Transcripts of all degrees, certificates, and mark sheets from Secondary and Higher secondary school certificates
- Transcripts of Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
- Affidavit of support (written statement that they will pay for the applicant to stay in Canada while he/she studies)
- Account maintaining certificate and bank statement as proof of having enough finances
- A tuition fee is required to be paid for the first year of study at a DLI in Canada
- Travel history/visa refusal
- Clearance letter from a local police station (criminal record)
Once students have sent in all the necessary paperwork and fees, they must send the entry form to CIC. The Canadian visa office in Pakistan may call some people who have applied for a Canadian student permit for an interview.
